Designing Meaningful Characters
As a writer, knowing whether or not you are designing a character that the public will enjoy is difficult. This is why I decided to see why examples like Stan Lee's Spiderman were so successful.
A Whole Lot To It
Writing meaningful characters is harder than one might think. You need to account for the aspects I cover in the video or in the research paper below, but you also need to research your audience and project to better understand who and what you're writing for. It's easy to make a character for just about anything. It's whether or not they mean something in what they're made for that's the hard part.
